Los Angeles, CA (September 13, 2010) - This month Canon Communications is set to launch a new blog and newsletter focused on India’s rapidly growing medical device industry. Worth an estimated $3 billion, India ranks among the top 20 strongest medical device markets in the world. Canon’s medtechinsider India blog and newsletter will provide India’s medtech community with a dynamic source of news and commentary on developments within the global medical manufacturing industry and its associated suppliers.
Comprehensive medtech regulation is making its way through India’s legislature. This will provide stability and instill confidence in the local medtech industry, which must meet rising demand from India’s growing population. The government has also announced plans to expand and modernize the healthcare system.
