Canon Communications LLC appoints Shannon Alo-Mendosa as Regional Sales Director for Medical Device Brands
Los Angeles, CA (May 17, 2009) – Canon Communications LLC has appointed Shannon Alo-Mendosa to the position of Regional Sales Director for Medical Device Brands. Based out of the Boston area, Alo-Mendosa and her sales team will service companies located throughout New England and Eastern Canada.
Alo-Mendosa joins Canon having previously held the position of Publisher at PennWell. Prior to that Alo-Mendosa spent five years with CMP’s EE Times Group as a Strategic Account Director and then onto Director of Business Development focusing on Events where she won Avnet’s World Wide XFest contract. Preceding that, Alo-Mendosa was the National Account Manager & Associate Publisher of Portable Design magazine where she launched Portable Design China magazine and event.

In her new role Alo-Mendosa will oversee regional growth for the full Medical Device Brands division which includes; MD&DI, Medical Product Manufacturing News, European Medical Device Technology, Qmed, IVD Technology, OrthoTec, Medical Electronics Design, China Medical Device Manufacturer and Japan Medical Design & Manufacturing Technology.
