Canon Communications Places Event in the 2009 TSW “Fastest 50” Group
Confirms company’s focus on high-value industries
Los Angeles, CA (August 3, 2009) – Canon Communications today noted that one of its co-located trade events for advanced, technology-based manufacturing companies placed in the 7th annual Tradeshow Week “Fastest 50” group of trade shows in the U.S. and Canada. The winner evaluations were based 50% on percentage of growth, and 50% on net square footage of growth, from 2006 to 2008.
The event cited in the TSW ranking consists of the co-located Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West, Pacific Design & Manufacturing, WestPack, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) West, and Electronics West shows. “By co-locating our shows, we can offer both exhibitors and attendees greater exposure to business opportunities across a wide range of industry segments,” said Kevin O’Keefe, Senior Vice-President of Canon’s events division. “At the same time, our focus on high-value industries continues to provide our trade show customers with timely access to the newest technologies.”
